I'm currently a Machine Learning Researcher at LinkedIn. I lead the Communications AI team at LinkedIn, where we develop algorithms to ensure our members receive the right communication, via the right channel, at the right time.
Previously I was a Software Engineer at Bloomreach. BloomReach provides a suite of Machine Learning algorithms for eCommerce. I was the Tech Lead for the SEO product, and we developed algorithms for keyword tagging, product recommendations, graph algorithms to improve website link structure as well as automatic parsing and template identification across eCommerce sites. I also developed a customer facing A/B testing platform to showcase the value of our SEO product.
Previously I was a Software Engineer at MathWorks Inc., where I worked on formal methods engines which automatically identify defects in code. I built an engine to automatically create comprehensive test cases, identify dead code, among other checks, for relations in decision logic. The formal methods engine toolbox is used for verification and validation in safety critical systems around the world.
I have a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, where I researched machine learning tools to identify malicious activity in computer networks. I built a graph theoretic framework to use a combination of spatial and temporal information to identify botnets in computer networks.
Prior to my Master's I obtained my B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology at DA-IICT where I developed computer vision algorithms to detect moving objects in still camera videos.
